ABOUT
Beto Amaral founded Cisma in 2003 to develop and produce independent films, theater and visual arts projects. It has produced the feature film SUNSTROKE (2009), selected to the Orizzonti Competition in the Venice Film Festival also produced VAZANTE which opened the Panorama Section at the Berlinale in 2017 and O BANQUETE released in 2018, both feature films directed by Daniela Thomas. In 2018 it has produced the Brazilian Segment of Jia Zhangke’s HALF THE SKY. In 2019 it has produced the documentary PARTIDA directed by Caco Ciocler wich had it's world premiere at Málaga Film Festival where it's won Best Documentary. Now it is post-producing the documentary PEDRA directed by Sandra Corveloni, Daniela Thomas and Beto Amaral.
CISMA created also art exhibitions by renowned filmmakers such as Eija-Liisa Ahtila and Chantal Akerman. It has also produced acclaimed theater plays such as O Inverno da Luz Vermelha by Monique Gardenberg and Kollwitzstrasse, 52 by Esmir Filho.

BETO AMARAL
Producer
Among other projects, Beto Amaral produced Insolação (Sunstroke) which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in 2009; Co-wrote and produced VAZANTE that opened the Panorama section at the Berlinale 2017; He produced and wrote additional dialogues for O Banquete (The Last Dinner) 2018.
Produced PARTIDA (Caco Ciocler, 2020) that had it's international premier at the 23rd Festival de Málaga where it was awarded Best Documentary, and directed the feature documentary Southern Sorceresses in partnership with Eliane and Carla Caffé which was selected to Cinelatino Reencontres de Toulouse, and won Best Film at Queer Porto.
BERNARDO BATH

Bernardo Bath has been working in audiovisual production since 2008. He has worked on several projects among them; "A Festa da Menina Morta" premiered at Un Certain Regard and "O Palhaço", "Elena"; "Onde Quer Que Você Esteja" and "Coração das Trevas". Currently he works on the executive production of Cisma Produções. In 2018 he has produced "De Volta" directed by Daniela Thomas and the theatrical release of the feature film "O Banquete". In 2019 has produced PARTIDA by Caco Ciocler, awarded in 2020 as Best Documentary at Málaga Film Festival and Best film at PORTO / POST / DOC.
