Kollwitzstrasse 52 is a multi-platform project that seeks to address the unresolved feelings that crop up in three young Brazilians in their thirties: the filmmaker Esmir, the writer and actor Ismael, and the philosophy teacher Marta. They choose Berlin to live the coldest winter of their lives in an unconventional three-way relationship. In the complicated web of relationships in which they engage, where sexual tension prevails and personal interests conflict, they are faced with a culture different from their own and suffer from the hostile nature that compels them to cover their skin.

The dream of the Brazilians to build a new concept of a family far from Brazil is shaken when the inhabitants of the city begin to instigate them to live experiences outside the limits of the triangle. Willing to open their comfortable apartment on the Kollwitzstrasse for Germans and foreigners to warm up in the cold Berlin, Esmir, Ismael and Marta eventually enter the dangerous territory of repressed desires and manipulated relationships.

Every community life experience is documented through videos captured by the characters themselves, which will be explored to design an audiovisual project, putting them into a disturbing debate about what is real life and what is fiction.
